Some people who are already racist will act that way no matter what. Trump addressed political philosophy

Hmm, I wonder if you posted a story about Willem Van Spronsen the shooter in Tacoma who had written a manifest containing some of the very tropes used by the one of the Spice Girls of the democrat party, AOC. A snippet below from his manifesto talking about concentration camps on the borders. Hmm, I wonder who called them that?

“evil says the flow of commerce is our purpose here,” he said at the beginning of the manifesto. “evil says concentration camps for folks deemed lesser are necessary. the handmaid of evil says the concentration camps should be more humane. beware the centrist.”

You are more worried about one guy who said something to someone in a convenience store and act like this is a real threat to and ignore a guy that shows up with a manifesto, an AR-15, incendiary devices and attacks an ICE location. Why am I not surprised at all.

I'm worried about the POTUS, who is supposed to represent American values, setting such a despicable example. As for the Tacoma shooter, perhaps you didnt know that this 68 year old long time anarchist was arrested for attacking a police officer at this same facility in June 2018, months before AOC was elected and anyone outside of NYC had even heard of her.

But as usual with threads about Trumps actions, you failto even state your opinions on HIS actions. What do youthink? Is it appropriate or beneficial to theUS to have a president that tells American born and raised congresswomen to"go back where you came from" because they disagree with his policies? Please let us know what you think about the topic of this thread.

LTC (Join to see) - I am sure you have never heard the lines, prior to Trump, "America, love it or leave it" or If you don't like it here, go back from whence you came". These lines have been around for a very, very long time. He did not originate them, they have been in common use for decades. If America is so distasteful, it is fair to respond in this manner.

I have stated on a number of threads what I think about Omar and her traveling band of misfits. She is free to toss out anti-Semitic tropes and anti American screeds and Trump is free to call her out on it. That is the way free speech and the public arena work. It doesn't work the way you seem to think it should where she can hurl whatever she likes and Trump must remain silent or he is inciting violence somewhere, somehow.

American values, as you seem to think, is accepting anti-Semitic and anti-American remarks from a sitting member of Congress. Americans stand up against that sort of BS, we do not accept it.

They both take the same oath of office, they both represent (theoretically) the same country. She has specific constituents in her district but she sits in the US House or Representatives. So, in your world, she is free to make this statements on a pretty large platform (she gets lots of press because they love her). Trump is not free to smack her down.

I didn't bring up the shooter for any other reason than to point out the hypocrisy on your end. I don't think AOC is responsible for this persons actions, he is and he alone. Her comments are undeniable false and inflammatory. We are not running concentration camps on the border, period. Trump is not responsible for a comment made by a convenience store clerk in East Bumfuck, Kansas either. Pretty simply concept is it not?
