I think Trump speaks to the issue of the greatness of America, whereas these people in this post speak to their own perceived greatness

So if this is about color, where's the Caucasian woman in this bunch? This is not and has not been about race - the mainstream media has made it that way.

CW3 Michael Bodnar I think if you can't criticize because the person you disagree with just happens to be of one color or another that is racist also

Trump's comments are indefensible, and will haunt him long after this episode is over.
But the Representatives are also full of... malarkey, when they came back swearing up and down that immigrants held in a "concentration camp" are in horrible conditions and being told to drink from a toilet. That is the actual subject of this back and forth, although now it is convenient for the squad to change the subject as their report from their photo op on the border gets deconstructed.
None of them voted for any measure that would have helped the people they purport to be for. Indeed, Ms Omar as a unique perspective that could be helpful here, were she to put her mind to it. Regrettably, it looks to me that they just went down there to virtue signal and attempt to further their narrative.
What Trump said was an unforced error politically, and may well reflect where he really is on this issue. Instead of Democrats eating their own, as they were a bare couple days ago, now they are unified in decrying Trump.
One can easily be critical of Trump's policies. I certainly am where I disagree with him. Likewise, virtually every policy point I have heard out of those four Congresswomen has been anathema to me and I freely criticize them as well. But it doesn't take name-calling and dog whistles to do that.

It looks like chip has blocked me... but I can still participate in this discussion by proxy... any way.. what comments are indefensible... the tweet you take out of context.... because you ignore part of it for your own shady purposes? why do you lie about the context of the tweet by leaving part of it out? I think your strawmanning of the president is utterly despicable.

now to Healy... 56% of democrats support capitalism and 20% support Cortez and the other communists... if the upper democratic leadership pulls their wagons around the commies the they lose half thier voter base

Cpl Benjamin Long - That is correct, yet they seem very determined to drive off that cliff.
Americans vote with their wallet. The price tag for all the stuff they are promising (but interestingly, not legislating) is close to $100 TRILLION. Who is really going to pay that? What is my share? Those answers will generate a landslide of epic proportions.
