I agree. Arms sales have protocols that must be followed to ensure that the wrong people do not lay their hands on advanced US weaponry, or at the very least, that runs through appropriate filters in the Executive Branch and Congress. Past "Emergency sales" were run through Congress - Lend/Lease in WWII comes to mind. It should not be hard to continue this practice.

Well, since we never learned from having armed the Taliban (9/11) and Iraq (Gulf Wars), Im very skeptical that anything is going to change. That we are becoming more involved in the same of weapons, it's disgustingly hypocritical to scorn other nations from doing it.
