SFC Melvin Brandenburg - that covers regular officers, not reservists, even in a retired status. Try looking it up, it's at 10 U.S.C.A. § 802 (UCMJ Art. 2). I don't fall under military jurisdiction. Nice try though.

MAJ Byron Oyler actually being a retired commissioned officer he isnt. Article 2 of the UCMJ maintains jurisdiction over retired commissioned officers who receive retirement pay. So Article 88 still applies.

SFC Melvin Brandenburg - you're incorrect. If you believe that you are correct, please cite the exact subsection of Art. 2 that I would fall under. You won't be able to do that, because it's not in the law. Nowhere does it say that "retired commissioned officers who receive retirement pay" are subject to the UCMJ.

This is propaganda at its finest and having a well spoken lady make excuses for why they can make these comments without an exam is grossly unprofessional. Why doesn't she provide a means to check her credentials in this? You can check mine at the Texas State Board of Nursing and EMS. Where is the lit review? This is nothing more than an opinion piece.

Agreed, sir. I'm entering the research phase of a doctor of education in leadership degree. I have completed all course work and comprehensive exam. The lit review and credentials are critical to this sort of expertise and very germane to a medical determination. I appreciate your comments.
