On July 1, 2019 1,190 New Cadet candidates and their families arrived at the US Military Academy for Reception Day, known at West Point simply as R-Day. Ken Kraetzer of Sons of the American Legion Radio talks with five of the prospective cadets just before they received final briefings with their families and receive instruction "You have sixty seconds to say your goodbyes".
