People’s personal tax returns should remain private unless the choose to share them. It is not right no matter who the president is. Company records should be able to be made public.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - The IRS has plenty of investigators, legal power and can pursue any illegal or improper issues with tax returns. You ought to know that Steve. Congress is on a fishing expedition to try to find things that are politically damaging, that is all. There is no legal requirement that he release the returns.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - You are misquoting the code. It says in section F:
"Upon written request from the chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means of the House of Representatives, the chairman of the Committee on Finance of the Senate, or the chairman of the Joint Committee on Taxation, the Secretary shall furnish such committee with any return or return information specified in such request, except that any return or return information which can be associated with, or otherwise identify, directly or indirectly, a particular taxpayer shall be furnished to such committee only when sitting in closed executive session unless such taxpayer otherwise consents in writing to such disclosure"
Your "full stop" representation is bovine stool. Even in a closed session there can be no guarantee of confidentiality either. There is also no predicate for which the returns are being requested. There is no crime or criminal activity being "investigated" or even suggested.
You are also hanging your entire argument on one section of the code. This request of a POTUS is unprecedented (it has never happened before for you Steve) and is solely intended for political purposes. Most of the returns have nothing to do with Trump being president either. They are for years prior to him being president. They might have an argument that they would be entitled to see his returns for the year(s) he was president.
I don't look for luggage, naver have but I did find that 9th "E" you never obtained as clearly you have no staying power.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - You are correct, you did not quote the code you attempted to misquote it and leave an incorrect impression about what it says. This is a tactic of those attempting to spread disinformation. You are welcome for the correction dumbass.
Your airline references may make you feel clever Steve but I don't work for an airline so your humor, like your politics is dull and misguided. If I ever need advice from someone that couldn't finish the race, who came up a little short, I will be sure to reach out to you.
