Kamala Harris Won the Democratic Debate by Fudging Her Record

I've been saying for a while now that I think Senator Harris wins the Democratic Nomination. She checks all the right boxes for identity politics, and has built in advantages in fundraising in a critical state, California. She has until recently been pretty careful to not get mired in the tar pits of the far left. Her record as a prosecutor is a thorny one in the primaries, but should play well in the general election.
Having said that, there is no way that any of these candidates could get any of these proposals through Congress, and they know it. There is no way that they can pay for any of these proposals, much less all of them. And there is no way that they'd have a ghost of a chance in the election in 2020 if their opponent wasn't so reviled by so many.
If just one of them could articulate a realistic, pragmatic, and sensical way forward for the country I would seriously consider them in 2020, but I heard none of that. Trump will win in 2020 unless someone on that stage the last two nights figures it out.

None of the candidates on the debate stage were fully honest with their promises or statements which is also disappointing. The whole racism theater that Harris put on against Biden, neglects her whole history as a presecutor jailing mass quantities of African Americans.........some of them innocent. And you will never hear her bring that topic up or mention the innocence project because it would cast her in a very negative light. Further, Harris is a first generation American, her Father is from Jamaica and her Mother is from India. So she has more beefs about Slavery with the British than with the United States.
