There I go again. I dismissed the idea that Iran had attacked the tankers inasmuch as I couldn't see any rational excuse for it. When will I learn? Some people don't act rationally, especially when they're caught up in religious extremism...

Western Journal and Conservative News are hardly unbiased sources. Whats the proof that this is an Iranian vessel and not some staged event? Heck even our allies don't believe it. A true US Navy plane would have filmed that boat as far as they could all the way back into an Iranian port, not just when the 'mine' was removed.

CPT Gregory Hafera Look in the mid 80s we were escorting oil tankers through the Persian Gulf, Google Earnest Will. We had legitimate attacks on tankers and Texas Towers in the Gulf during these escorts and there was never any doubt on who did what and how. This is a bunch of real estate developers trying to stage an incident, fortunately our allies see through the grade B movie antics.
