Rich farmers, not mom-and-pop farms, will collect most of Trump’s tariff bailout

First Trump said that the agriculture industry is strong, then said the farmer's will understand and support the sacrifice. Now he is doling out money.

Having farmed, it just goes to say those that raise most will get the most. Example in my area, one operation raises 15,000 acres, a friend down the road only raises about 300 acres, who is going to get paid out the most. Plus from what I have read, they only get money if they can show a loss etc, and have to produce records, I know years ago, when the government had the set aside program, you had to show three years worth of records. But those who hate Trump will put a slant on anything.

Rich farmers get the most tax breaks, just as rich people get the largest tax breaks. They pay the most taxes. If you don't pay taxes, then how can you get a tax break on "zero" taxes? Or, if everyone gets a 5% reduction on taxes paid, then someone paying $100k will get a lot more money back than someone who pays $1k taxes.
