Never should have been changed without some concessions from Cuba on their behavior.

MCPO Roger Collins - OK, Russia has also done all these things. Is it your position that we should ban travel to Russia? It is my position that we live in a free society and it shouldn't be in the government's power to restrict my comings and goings to other countries. Maybe we need the wall with Mexico to keep in those pesky American's who might try to escape?

SPC Kevin Ford Did you ignore the article that shows Russia is pulling out? Punishing them for doing what we want is a bit obtuse. I’m sure we would change the policy on Cuba, IF they leave. Do you seriously believe wags you are saying on open borders? Unbelievable! Tell it to our Constitution and regulators.

Chapter 2: The source and scope of the federal power to regulate immigration and naturalization
The broad power of the federal government to regulate the admission, removal, and naturalization of non-citizens has its roots in the early history of the United States. MCPO Roger Collins - I didn't read the second article because you posted a broken link. I went back to it and figured out what the link was you meant to post was and read it.
First off the article quotes Trump as saying Russia pulled out. I'm afraid that's not a credible source of information. You'll have to get information from a source that hasn't been shown to lie over and over again, particularly when it comes to Russia. The only halfway credible thing in that article indicates that a Russian contractor pulled out for not being paid, which isn't the same thing as Russia stopping their involvement and support with the Maduro government.
Second, it still doesn't answer the underlying question. Russia is still interfering in Ukraine, have been for all of Trump's presidency. Why no talk of barring US citizens from Russia? I don't believe it has anything to do with interfering in Venezuela or anything else the Cuban government has recently done. Instead it has to do with getting some votes in south Florida, and more particularly because Trump seems to have a fetish of trying to undo anything Obama did.
My last comment had nothing to do with open borders, it was a tongue in cheek comment that since the US government is back in the business of restricting the free travel of US citizens, perhaps the government really wants the wall the keep Americans in instead of immigrants out. E.g. the Berlin wall.
