I hate the media these days, especially the mainstream variety that people have known for decades which are expected to be objective in their reporting. I don't care if it's CNN or FOX. Would it kill them to report a story without bias, without sensationalism, and without an agenda? Even PBS and NPR have chosen the path of bias over ethics. The saddest part is, there are times I've gotten more objective and honest news from foreign sources like Al Arabiya or Asharq Al-Awsat (though don't expect objectivity when it comes to Israel).
The US media has abandoned it's role of a free press and purveyors of real news. They are now nothing more than activists with press badges. They have embraced their new role as fomenters of hate, bigotry, and division. They are advocates of violence. They despise the very rights they exercise daily; the right of free speech and freedom of the press.
In your article, they now target an individual, a private citizen for no other reason than he made a fake video. These same people who are silent or come to the aid of someone who uses social media to hold a severed head of the president. The same people who ran with a false quote even after the fabricator confessed to making it up.

All of this is precisely why I have been calling the media "the enemy of the people and liberty" since before Trump uttered those words.
