I wonder how many minorities fought to show they we were good enough to be citizens of our country. I still remember the MOH story of a young African-American LT who was a forward observer. He kept walking in the artillery until it was heard on the radio that he was walking in the artillery at his location. They found him dead surrounded by like a 100 dead Germans. The Navajo code talkers were impossible to decode, and the Japanese lost more men in a mission to rescue a Texas unit.
