One of the great honors of my age is having witnessed great moments in man's accomplishments. I've also heard great storytellers and they inspired me to attempt to become one myself. And it's sad to see them go replaced by much lesser persons. For example, I grew up reading H. L. Mencken and other great journalists, now replaced by propagandists. And there's this man, Tim Conway who, like Jack Benny and others, were gentle men inspiring laughter with gentle humor replaced by stand up comics of the basest sort.
