So Russia can give Bill Clinton $500,000 and that is acceptable. Russia can give $145,000,000 to the Clinton Global Initiative and that is fine. Russia can interfere in US elections while Obama is President and that is acceptable. Russia can purchase $150,000 in advertisements on Facebook and that is acceptable. But Trump defeats the elitist class and now there is an issue?

That has been proven to not be true. Actually, the original warrants were based on ongoing "tapping" on known Russian operatives where the FBI started hearing certain names, related to the Trump campaign. This was a counter-intelligence investigation. The Steele dossier only came into play later.

MCPO Roger Collins - Your own link supports what I said. The 1st warrant was in October, 2016. The dossier was not released by Buzzfeed until January 2017.
