Pete Buttigieg is reclaiming Christianity and taking it back from the far right and reminding us that Christ was a progressive and his message was about as far left as one can get.
Does this mean that Vice President Mike Pence and the right-wing Christian fundamentalist's hell-bent on denying human rights to people they imagine are going against God's word are not Christians?

People have been arguing who is and who isn't a true member of a faith since time immemorial.
I don't think Thom Hartman has an unbiased opinion about whether Mike Pence is really a Christian anymore then Sean Hannity has an unbiased opinion on whether Barrack Obama is really a Christian.
At the end of the day, being a Christian or not being a Christian isn't a requirement to get elected to political office.
