Let's not act all innocent and violated. The United States has ALSO been meddling in the elections of other countries. It's just Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, the NY Times, Washington Post, etc. never seem to getting around to reporting it. ESPECIALLY when the whole "Russian collusion" needed added traction. https://www.blackandblondemedia.com/2015/03/19/team-obama-has-and-continues-to-meddle-in-foreign-elections/
Team Obama Has, and Continues to ‘Meddle’ in Foreign Elections – Black & Blonde Media
The president’s supporters complained about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech before a Joint Session of Congress being so close to an election while conveniently forgetting the fact Obama had a high-profile campaign rally in Berlin just prior to the 2008 presidential election.

A Brief History of U.S. Intervention in Foreign Elections | The Takeaway | WNYC Studios
The CIA has revealed that Russia deliberately interfered with the November election to help Donald Trump. Yet, intervening in foreign election is nothing new, particularly to the U.S.

SSgt GG-15 RET Jim Lint Actually, it has been going on since 1919. Though they (the Russians) did step it up in the 1950s. It is also what fueled the beginning of the FBI in 1920 with J Edgar Hoover at the helm.
Both the Socialist Party of America and the Communist Party USA were Russian proxies after 1919.

I think the reason that it honestly does not get the attention that it deserves is because we have the electoral college. Bottom line? Your vote don't count. Lower Matebele Land could hack into every voting machine and it wouldn't make an iota of difference.
Now if you could prove that they knew the name and address of every electoral voter, then THAT might be something. But again...the average intelligent voter doesn't care.

I don't think it is so much the electoral college, but a the fact that all of the difference city and county election boards all buy voting machines from different companies and have different people doing the cyber security. Because it is not one system nationwide, we are much safer. Also not one screw-up with the password!

I don't think it is a matter of hacking into the voting machines (though they may have tried that also). I think it is a matter of them filling social media with false and/or misleading information, which many took to be the truth, without verifying. .

Again tho, if every non-electoral college voter like myself, believed everything they posted, it still wouldn't make a difference. As my vote doesn't count.
Additionally, note that Hilary won the popular vote. So obviously, everyone reading "Hilary is great" didn't work as the electoral college turned right around and did whatever they decided to do. As opposed to what they are supposed to do.
Add in no penalty for not voting the way you're supposed to vote and you come up with a receipe for disaster.
