TSgt (Join to see) - I use it when I have racing thoughts and anxiety. I was taught by Master Zen Buddhist monk to imagine contrails of air goin into my nose. He was a door gunner in Vietnam and killed a lot of people. Meditation was his way to get relief from the ghosts in him.

Nothing but respect from me sir. You served through some crazy times. I learned and was introduced to mindfulness after being a civilian cop for 10 years having one too many traumatic events. Definitely helps as preventative and as a refocusing for me.
