Lamborghini Performante LOSES control and CRASHES into a Tree!

I have a 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme with a 400 big block and a positraction rear end. When I would gun it and the vehicle was not totally straight, I could start dog tracking and lose control of the car if I didn't let off the gas immediately and then once I regain control I could then floor it. Is this the same with this Lamborghini that crashed? Is it different because it's a mid-engine car and it has four wheel drive? What do you think the driver did wrong, besides being an idiot and racing in London, that caused him to lose control? In your jurisdiction, would this guy be involved with engaging in a speed contest, reckless driving or what? What would be the fine in that jurisdiction you live in? I'm not asking about London, England I'm asking about your part of the USA?
These parts are custom-made and you can't order them like you can order a sender or a transaxle from a Toyota. This vehicle may not be a total loss but I bet you it's going to be in the shop for months because this is a handmade car. I would hate to be the claims adjuster writing this up. I'm sure this driver is going to be dropped from their insurance company. Maybe it's some self-insured Sheikh from Saudi Arabia?
