Henry Gunther - Wikipedia

I was born and raised in Baltimore where I had known Gunther's beer (terrible stuff) but had never heard of Henry Gunther (likely no relation to the beer purveying family) who was likely the last person killed in WWI. It's seems that he committed suicide by enemy fire. Some speculate that he was attempting to regain the rank he had lost just prior to his death.
