Congressman Don Bacon (NE) introduced H.R. 6105, the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) Reform Act with Reps. Scott Perry (PA) and John Rutherford (FL) as original cosponsors. The LEOSA Reform Act makes improvements to current concealed carry laws by easing training burdens and restrictions on carrying for current or retired law enforcement officers.

This is stupid. You can either carry a concealed firearm or not. LEOs are not special such that they get extra leeway to exercise their rights where "common" citizens don't. Fix that original problem.

it was because LEO have more training that the law was originally written allowing off duty and retired LEOs to be able to assist in the case of some type of emergency. That's why I did not put the discussion in 2A with is another issue all together and one I also support
