I concur.
Both sides are guilty of slick tactics, and taking the position that it is there way, or an affront to humanity.
With regard to discussions, or debates, I always enjoy watching the British Parliament. Their sarcastic banter seems to keep it a bit more civil, especially when preceded by, the "Right Honorable Gentleman," banning of slurs ours use daily.
Favorite one used to get around the rule against calling another member a liar is my faborite: terminological inexactitude.
We used to agree to disagree, now it is nearly a challenge to duel.

There is no “cure” for nihilism. Nihilism is not a “disease” or “disorder” than can be cured, like cancer can be cured, or rabies can be cured. ... So there is no “beating” nihilism. Nihilism simply means that one believes that life has no INHERENT meaning.
