Not too be a pessimist here, but the LE side of me wonders if this crime actually happened. From what little I read, it appears contrived.

However, if true, the persons responsible should be hunted down and punished profusely.

Like I said, he most likely will not be believed until video evidence surfaces. Until then, he beat himself up and put a noose around his own neck for attention is what people will think. Either that or that he is bought and paid for by Soros to cause an uproar.

1SG (Join to see) - What’s sad is the number of victims who falsely report crimes. It happens much more than folks know. It really takes away from those who were actually victimized. Since there is very little punishment for false reporting a crime, there is no deterrent. The media doesn’t help either. They are the first the jump on reporting the initial incident, but hesitant to report that it was later proven false.

My pessimism comes from 30 years of LE experience. I wish it wasn’t so.

If true, then the offenders should be brought to justice. BUT, Chicago police and the FBI said they have scoured the area for video and they can't find anything to support his claims. His story has already changed. There is a long list of people accusing Trump supporters of horrible stuff, and then it falls apart after further investigation. Wait for the facts to come in before the lynch mobs and pitchforks come out...
