I hope this isn't like the recent case where the SM died in a car accident and the car wasn't immediately found. It sounds like he was a good soldier.

Hope he's okay and it doesn't end up like the soldier that was missing at Ft. Hood.

The Army marked this soldier as a deserter. But he had actually died in a car crash on post.
Two investigations determined that Pfc. Dakota Stump died in a car accident on Fort Hood back in 2016, but his mother believes there is more to the story.
