ARMY DIRECTIVE 2015-03 (PROCEDURES FOR THE ISSUANCE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS SAFETY ACT CREDENTIALS TO ARMY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS) 8 JAN 15. This AD implements 18 U.S. Code sections 926B and 926C and DoDI 5525.12. It also incorporates and implements section 1089 of the NDAA for FY13 for qualified active, retired and separated uniformed Army and DA Civilian law enforcement personnel in accordance with the procedures stipulated in this AD. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-183111

It's about time! The AF recently passed thier LEOSA, and I am signed up for my CCW Class in March to complete the process. I have heard that the background checks with DOJ/FBI are grossly backed up, but I am patient and it will all work out! Good luck to all!
