So the 25% of the gov that is not working, and will get their full pay when the gov goes back to work....so these people on ADDITIONAL FREE PAID VACATION can go to rallies against the gov? It is their right...although the same gov that is paying them and giving them vacation, is what they are mad about? BS Flag, they love it, and will love the back pay they get while on extra vacation.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Except that I was in their shoes, and I cut my cost and I did not get evicted. I lived within my means before it, during the furlough, and after the furlough. It is survivable. I did it. It really is stupid the way the media is presenting it. All of our people survived it and did not have any FIN problems. That would have caused clearances to be suspended. I have never heard of anyone getting evicted in any furlough.

Capt Gregory Prickett - I have been in a furlough at GG-12 and a GG-15. At ANY time, I am conservative in my budgeting. Which was good when I needed to retire at age 56. I still eat well.
