Use sensors then send in the tunnel rats !

I say when a tunnel is found drop a bunker buster. Also use the drug money to build the wall, that way El Chapo will pay for it.

We had Seismic intrusion detectors in the in the 80's (that were Vietnam era technology) that depending on soil conditions could easily detect tunneling activity. The better the ground was for tunneling, the better the conditions for detecting the tunneling. The harder job was detecting tunneling in urban terrain, until you cultivate some humint sources. Once discovered, tunnels are great, we know exactly where they are coming out. Once they know we are on them, we seize the outlet end, close the tunnel, auction the property off and use the funds to build more wall.
