We need safety and security along our border. Just like people having walls, fences, or whatever the hell you want to call it around their homes/property. It serves as security and a deterrent.

Isreal has reduced the incidence of incursion with it’s steel wall. There are other countries who have reduced illegal immigration using barriers such as Hungery. Of course barriers reduce and imped the movement of people. The thing that bothers me is nature abhors a vacuum. If the US doesn’t control the border who does?
