Wasn't "speaking out" what facilitated Gen. McChrystal's retirement in the first place?

It was his subordinates, he never made any comments, but members of his staff did while a reporter for Rolling Stone was doing a piece on him.

CPO (Join to see) - Some of it was McChrystal, though the worst was by his aids. Problem was, it was all said in front of him when we knew a reporter was in the room and as senior man he let it continue. Sucks, but it's kind of one of those things where perhaps he didn't think it through.

Seems that all except for a few think this was a bad move. Besides the Kurd's I think the biggest question is what if Turkey goes after Syria to reclaim disputed territory. Will Russia attack Turkey? Will the Kurd's attack Russia? Will we (NATO) be forced to respond militarily? This is with out a doubt a hot spot to look out for.
