Correction, not looming.
Its already a narco-state. Easily its worse than Mexico and Columbia in their worst years combined, and several times over. The Columbian Cartels are piddling fools in comparison, wannabes.
The real question to ask is whats next after opium. Illegal arms sells? On that note, Somalia is a pirate haven, on the order of Black Beard Piracy in the 1700s. Perhaps Afghanistan will diversify its criminal enterprises?
