Trump 'may cancel Putin talks over Ukraine'

Mr Trump told the Washington Post that the report coming from his national security team would be "very determinative".
"Maybe I won't have the meeting [with Mr Putin]. Maybe I won't even have the meeting. I don't like that aggression. I don't want that aggression at all," he said.
The two men are scheduled to discuss security, arms control, and issues in Ukraine and the Middle East when the summit convenes on Friday and Saturday, national security adviser John Bolton told reporters.

No problem. Putin will just strongly deny any wrongdoing and that will be good enough for Trump. Just like with Putin denying the election meddling and MBS denying ordering the journalist's killing. That gives Trump enough room to say "maybe they did, maybe they didn't--who knows" and then refuse to take any tough action.

It seems as per usual Russia will say one thing but do quite another. Seems that's pretty much expected from them and seems a long time pattern. Some thing don't seem to change all that much and seem to keep coming back to the old ways the Russians seem to have always operated.
