It is not a First Amendment issue or any other Amendment issue. It is Acosta and CNN being typical jackasses.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Obiviously he does or there would be 1,286 daily newspaper reporters and 294 media reporters in the WH Press conferences.

Capt Gregory Prickett - So maybe he can choose who sits in there. What if some of those other reporters wanted a seat? Then went to court to boot Acosta.

There is no 1st amendment face off here. This is a matter of poor and unprofessional behavior on the part of an individual who has had credentials taken away. CNN can send someone else to ask their questions. The press is not being kept from doing it's job. If Acosta wants to be treated like a grown up perhaps he can start acting like one. This should have been done a year ago or more. You can ask all of the tough questions you want. His behavior is juvenile, unprofessional and embarrassing.

" matter of poor and unprofessional behavior "- But you have no problem with that coming from the President of the United States? Hypocrisy.

SFC J Fullerton - The president is elected, you can vote against him if you like. Acosta is an employee of CNN working in our white house. Apples and oranges.

Cpl Jeff N. - So that's your only explanation? He won the election, therefore he can behave any way he wants? You don't expect the holder of the office of POTUS to conduct himself with honor and dignity? Those are not qualities expected of the President? Its ok to be a boorish ass to anyone who disagrees with him?
