On October 26, 1963, born on this day, Natalie Merchant, singer, songwriter from American alternative rock band 10,000 Maniacs that was founded in 1981. After the recording of MTV Unplugged (1993) Merchant left the band to pursue a solo career.

SGT (Join to see) Sang her stuff when I was with my band. "Jealousy" was a favorite, "Wonder"... one we never did was about a husband losing his wife. Sardonic. Great artist! Thank you for the share!
