Trump Jr. Boosts Smear Tying Missing Journalist Jamal Khashoggi to Islamic Terrorism
The president’s son, along with conservative media, are using Jamal Khashoggi’s interviews with Osama bin Laden to imply he supported Islamic terror.
I don't mourn his loss.

The Ugly Terror Truth About Jamal Khashoggi
In high school, Jamal Khashoggi had a good friend. His name was Osama bin Laden. “We were hoping to establish an Islamic state anywhere,” ...
While I’m sure the ‘SultanKnish’ is a reliable, unbiased source, I’m more of a ‘trust, but verify’ type. For example, the SK blog states, without any citation or reference, that Khashoggi wrote, “Democracy and political Islam go together.” Is that possible? Sure.
However, it’s quite possible that the writer is misquoting Khashoggi from Aug. 28 in the Washington Post when he wrote, “There can be no political reform and democracy in any Arab country without accepting that political Islam is a part of it.” Far less radical sounding. Far more realistic view of the Middle East. Don’t believe me? See link below with his full piece.

I’ll give you one guess as to whether or not this blog provided any citations or references showing that Khashoggi was a “school chum” with bin Laden.
*note. I’m no fan of Khashoggi, and even less so of the Brotherhood. But I’m a big fan of the truth and facts.

What the media aren’t telling you about Jamal Khashoggi | Spectator USA
Saudi Arabia and the rise of the mobster state. Where is the dissident Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi? And what does Mohammmad bin Salman know?
The article is interesting, but in the sense that it doesn’t cite any sources or show evidence for any of its claims. It simply puts a heavily conservative spin on already known facts. For example, the article states that Khashoggi was, “recently praising the Muslim Brotherhood in the Washington Post. (*note, it also uses very journalistically professional language like, “...who had the beef on the royals...”. Good lord).
Except he wasn’t. Again, I’m no fan of the Brotherhood, but if the last few thousand years have shown anything, Islam and the Middle East are fairly well intertwined. Again, Khashoggi recognized that, “There can be no political reform and democracy in any Arab country without accepting that political Islam is a part of it.” That’s not praise. Read the entire article. Further, take a few hours and read several of his articles. You’ll agree with some, disagree with others.
I don’t really care much about this guy. Saudi Arabia executed someone. Shocking. The big to do over the situation is that our current administration has long proclaimed to not tolerate or do business with thug regimes (we heavily condemn Russia when they execute their government critics). But now that our ally thug regime has done the same thing, and we tolerate it and do business with them, it makes our administration look hypocritical.
The whole outrage from the left is to make our administration look more ridiculous than it currently does. The whole defense from the right is a backlash against the left. And realistically, before last week, I’m willing to bet that 99.9% of Americans hadn’t heard of Khashoggi. So people getting all spun up now on either side is a little disingenuous.
