It's a bit long, however I for one don't mind, I watched live and then went to UTube knowing that it would be posted. The presentation of the CMH to anyone is a great honor, I really love it that he is a Vietnam veteran and I for one think there are many more who served in that nasty war who then had to come home to find their world had changed for the worse. God bless Sgt. Maj. John Canley, may be late, but Thank You for Your Service.

I hope the Marine who got the Navy cross in 2009 for losing his leg to an RPG and still continuing the fire with his machine gun until relieved gets the Medal of Honor..

LTC (Join to see), thanks for the link, hard to believe that he was able to carry on with his injury. I can attest to the training of boot camp, though I went to a Tech school, I can only imagine how hard the infantry is trained.

PVT Mark Zehner, best and worst day of my life, October 3rd, 1973. Graduated from boot camp, it was my birthday, that's the best present ever. The worst is that as Rick Douglas and I grabbed our duffle bags and headed to the airport, the first thing that happened when we got there was a group of people who started calling us names a two spit on us. We just pushed though them and got to a restroom to clean up and catch our flight.

PVT Mark Zehner scarier thing is that as I watched the confirmation hearing on Justice Kavanaugh, the behavior of the Dem's sure brought back memories of that behavior then.
