We'll come together with Democrats if and when they return to being Democrats. Hell, I might even rejoin them, but never so long as they are under the pall of the Left

SN (Join to see) - he's referencing what Democrats used to be, your 60s-70s Democrats. It would be along the lines of what Ronald Reagan said when he was asked on why he left the Democrat party, "I didn’t leave the Democratic party, the Democratic Party left me."

"Your 60s-70s Democrats"... like the ones who used violence to protest school desegregation in Boston or those who brought violence to the 1968 DNC convention. Please read the Democrat Race Lie and see how much you really have in common with them.

SN (Join to see) - My introduction to the Democratic Party was President Harry Truman. You remember him, don't you. The President who integrated the Army Forces. Growing up in the South, I well remember the discrimination. My father was the most bigoted person I ever knew. He worked part time as a realtor and spoke openly about preventing the practice of allowing blacks to break into and ruin good white neighborhoods. He was a Republican. Then when we visited our relatives up north, I discovered that they were as racist as any I knew in the South. And they loved mocking Southerners for being racist. Remember the race riots of Birmingham, Massachusetts? Racism was not limited by party or geography. It was the scourge of our nation. Thankfully, we faced up to it and broke its hold on the law. Yes there are still racists but at least they no longer have the force of law to enforce their discrimination. Yes, there will always be racists as long as there is ignorance and people who profit from inciting racism. Thus, before you vilify either party, you might like to read about my political odyssey...

Will do. BTW --- Democrat anti-war activists, who called Ronald Reagan and even Donald Trump psychos who would bring us to the brink of nuclear war, have conveniently forgotten that Truman (rightly or wrongly) dropped two nuclear bombs on civilians and combatants alike.

I do not understand what all the hoopla was about to begin with. We appoint judges based on qualifications not idealogical balance #1. Second, no single President can stack the court idealogically, it has been that way since Roosevelt was President. Sure for the moment the court might be one up for the right as the liberals like to point out. However, who is to say one or two judges might pass on or change their idealogy or just retire when a Democrat is President. All this wasted energy and screaming was completely stupid and I can guarantee you when the shoe is on the other foot the Republicans are not going to act this childish or entitled. Trump is at least 4 appointments away from stacking the court. We just are not going to have that many replacements while Trump is President even if he is elected for two years. The one up on the conservative side current balance is not "going to last generations" as the media implied and I would be really surprised if it even lasted beyond 7 years. Democrats need to take a deep breath and grow up, in my opinion.

Oh and how quickly we forget history on past appointees and their lack of judicial experience..
