LTC (Join to see) Not that I'm Aware of. It does have some draw backs. Burn Fuel at a Ridiculous Rate so You Always Need a Floating Support/Gas Station Nearby Too Small to Store Stores Like Food. Fast, Maneuverable but if someone is lucky enough to shoot you it is not that Hardy. Still Pretty Cool Though and a Challenging Target for Most Weapons Systems of the Time.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel kind of reminds me in the Korean War about the f-86 sabre fighter plane compared to the Corsair. The Corsair, just like the A-10 Warthog of today, Cantwell for a long time while the F-35 and the Sabre jet burn fuel like crazy especially on afterburner. I know the F-35 can do Mach 1.5 without afterburner so I know the saber could barely break the sound barrier but it always use a lot of fuel. A good analogy!

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - I recall seeing the dent in the NWT door where the CO's head hit it after they hit a whale going 40+ kts. That was quite the unexpected 'ALL STOP' moment.
