As we all know the Woobie is the most cherished item. What would you say the second most cherished item would be?

SFC Harry H. The first thing I bought before leaving the Army, a Woobie. The second, was a compass and a pace cord.

I loved my poncho liner unfortunately my exit from Vietnam came quickly and waiting for the bird at zero dark thirty it was left behind in the company perimeter,Iv owned suits from Hong Kong ,shoes from Italy,shirts from London but none came close.

I still have mine from 1978. Used many times and holds up today. One of the soldiers very best friend in the field. Great post Capt Dwayne Conyers The other item would be my P 38 from 1978.
