Man gets Jail Time for Killing Deer over 2.5 Ton Bait Pile - The Hunting News

I hadn't hunted in over 30 years. I was laid up in bed with a bad spin for a year. I forced my self to get out of bed I'll stop on that. I ended up shooting the consecration and breath control help me block out the pain. Any way i started up a conversation with a stranger and ended up being invited to shoot squirrels on his property. I was enjoying doing that for over a year. When he just happened to tell me the property I was hunting on wasn't his. About that time I decided to get my hunting license so I could try Pig and Deer hunting again. I couldn't find an old license so I had to take the Hunter safety course over again. And I was made aware of the fact that you need a hunting license to hunt anything with fur. The I didn't know excuse wouldn't have helped me one bit. I could have lost my rifle my PU Truck and lost my right to hunt and I'm sure a boat load of money. I couldn't afford to lose. For hunting ground Squirrels. The point is I lucked out this time, but we all need to get better informed on some of the things we do or take for granted. I quit river and stream fishing in Ca because it's to easy to be fishing in the wrong spot with the wrong rear at the wrong time of year.

I am telling ya don't mess with game wardens or hunting regulations because they can come down on you harder then regular law enforcement. I know in texas and Louisiana if a game warden catches you doing something illegal they can follow you back to your house and take everything guns,boat ,vehicles even your house because if they catch you at your house everything is part of the crime now for this you have to do something really bad
