Thank you my friend SGT (Join to see) for sharing the music video of Canadian-American roots rock group The Band performing "The Shape I'm In" from the movie The Last Waltz.
The Last Waltz is a 1978 documentary movie by Martin Scorsese of the elaborate performance at Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco, California on November 25 (Thanksgiving Day) of 1976. That concert featured numerous musical celebrities of the era.

The backup band for Bob Dylan consisting of wonderful musicians: guitarist Robbie Robertson, organist Garth Hudson, bassist Rick Danko, pianist Richard Manual and drummer Levon Helm which adopted the name The Band performing "The Shape I'm In" in honor of the fact that on October 1, 1965, Bob Dylan appeared at Carnegie Hall in New York City and introduced them as The Band.

The original configuration of the Band ended its touring career in 1976 and Rick Danko, Robbie Robertson and Levon Helm continued to perform as the excellent musicians they are.

"The Shape I'm In"
Lyrics
"Go out yonder, peace in the valley
Come downtown, have to rumble in the alley
Oh, you don't know the shape I'm in

Has anybody seen my lady
This livin' alone would drive me crazy
Oh, you don't know the shape I'm in

I'm gonna go down by the water
But I ain't gonna jump in, no, no
I'll just be lookin' for my maker
And I hear that that's where she's been?

Oh out of nine lives, I spent seven
Now how in the world do you get to Heaven
Oh you don't know the shape I'm in

I've just spent 60 days in the jail house
For the crime of having no dough, no no
Now here I am back out on the street
For the crime of having nowhere to go

Save your neck or save your brother
Looks like it's one or the other
Oh, you don't know the shape I'm in

Now two young kids might start a ruckus
You know they feel you're tryin' to shuck us
Oh, you don't know the shape I'm in"

SGT (Join to see) - I thought of it first after reading your post, and was going to share. Many good tunes on that album. They do justice to "Long Black Veil", though they didn't write it. Here's a 68 recording. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4-ixeR1sdA

The 1968 45 version is slower, this is 94, same era and more mellow genre than the late 60's hard rock. (British Invasion i.e. Led Who Cream, and the 101st's own - recently voted #1 - James Marshall Hendrix). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRkG8TRpy1M
