PO3 Phyllis Maynard also make sure to push through Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous (if you are allowed to). My sister had a drinking problem and took painkillers and suffered PTSD from an earlier abortion and she killed herself on July 4th 2015. The real victims are the survivors. I don't see very many organizations pushing sobriety. I don't know why and it really bothers me. Substance abuse can lead to depression. Look at that famous newspaper columnist and food critic, Anthony Bourdain. My wife and I, who are sober for over a decade each, notice he was always drinking and smoking excessively in his commentaries. Next thing we know, he's committed suicide. I just don't know or don't see people discussing sobriety and all these postings about the many suicides per month that we see coming from the veteran population. Just my two cents.
