ladies and gentlemen, we have to work harder to get those Veterans in crisis the help they need, even if it means they are involuntarily held for observation for a few days. we are each others' battle buddy. we looked after them when we were active duty. just because we hang up the uniform doesn't mean we don't take care of them anymore.
the very least we can do is be someone that listens, be a shoulder to cry on. at the very least, give them this phone number
