I am not familiar with this petition... what does it matter if a service member, who earned the Post-911, passes it on to their dependents? Am I missing something? Not to be an a-hole I am just out of the loop on this one.

I already have a degree, so passing down GI benefits to the wife or children saves the family considerable amount of money.
