China's Chilling 'Social Credit System' Is Straight Out of Dystopian Sci-Fi, And It's Already...

Seems to me the Chinese are simply surpassing us … by taking Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion credit scoring to the national level, rolling them into one, and adding some other evaluation criteria. In truth, I don't trust non-governmental data collection and use any more than I do a government's. In some ways … I trust it less. At any rate, it seems to me that the Chinese have taken something we already do … and taken it to a higher level. Nothing surprising in that.
