25 of the witches are Russian nationals with virtually no chance of prosecution and so far, no link to the Trump administration leading to a indictment or conviction. "Lay on MacDuff."

Manafort's convictions are not for activities related to President Trump.

"Lay on MacDuff."

I find your gleeful rejoicing over revenue collected eerily reminiscent of the caricature of a small town sheriff; bragging about how much revenue he brings in from "out of staters." It is grotesque and offensive to view the courts as a profit center.

Maj John Bell - Fair enough. I feel similarly. Served 5 Presidents of both parties. But I'd submit to you that right now, one side is far outdistancing the other wrt misinformation. I don't much care about the "xNC"s… I care more about the character of the occupant of the office. This person... has none. Zero. Let me ask you this, what results do you see here that benefit your Soldiers? My thanks, for your service.

COL John McClellan - Indirectly, I think the world is safer under Pax Americana and less likely to lead to committing troops to the "whack a mole" games we've been playing. I think we should be very reluctant to commit to any military action; "boots on the ground," planes in the air" , or ships in the shipping lanes." But when we do, I think we need to go heavy and accept no outcome other than unconditional surrender. That includes letting the CIA back into the "wet work" game, killing key bad guys and gals, even if it is on a toilet in Paris. Just don't get caught.

Directly, I don't actually see a major difference between one presidency and the next for the troops. I'm old enough that I can remember when it was OK to ban the military from bars, restaurants, theaters and miniature golf courses; spit on us, and harass us just for short hair and "killing babies." Fortunately those day are long gone, unfortunately we are now, (in my opinion) edified out of pity, instead of actual respect. But we are to some degree sacred cows, even when we leave "cow pies" in the bars, restaurants, theaters and miniature golf courses.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - It says that his crowd would probably far more interesting in a conversation over a beer, just maintain a modicum of sobriety, keep your hand on your wallet, and your wife within your field of view.

The charts notably state that the current investigation includes a large amount of Russians that were indicted to make it look bigger than Watergate. However, in a real object and non-political comparison (ie MOST HISTORIANS), Watergate was much more severe a threat to both the Constitution than this whole deal will ever be with Trump which resembles Chicken Little running around screaming "the sky is falling" more than it does an actual scandal. Likewise most of the indictments have nothing to do with collusion with the Russians to win the Presidency. Futhermore, the Russian involvement in the Email dump as well as advertising, etc. Impact was minimal at best as the Russians did not change the contents of the Emails nor was their advertising effective. Pretty much the Democrats sunk their own ship with the lack of discipline in what they put in Emails and lack of Email account security ("Password" as a password? Really?) not to mention server security at the DNC. Not necessarily the Russians fault for exploiting complete negligence by Senior members of the DNC as well as Senior Political leaders. The Russians do make a very convienent scapegoat for the Democrats to avoid responsibility for this International Embarrassment. Hopefully both the DNC and Democratic Party has tightened up in both areas so we don't have to go through this BS all over again. Hopefully they have their act together for the mid-terms.

Watergate did not.include enmybactions against the US being ignored or protected by the whitehouse. And Nixon for all his multidimensional fats was a far better man thAnn Trump..I belive Nixon cared about the nation in his own twisted way. I see no evidence that Trump cares about anything g but his own ego.

Remove any reference to "Trump" or "Election 2016" and I'd guess most Vets would see the Russian meddling in our affairs differently.

I see it as a cyber attack and disinformation campaign against USA. No matter who the POTUS is, or reason for their meddling. It should not sit well with any that serve now, and especially with those who served during the Cold War.
