Eisenhower warned us of the military-industrial complex. At the time, he was not heeded. Yet, he seems to be the prescient one in the entire government. He intended for the country to be a leader, but his warning was at what cost? Surely after Sputnik, he was able to grasp the magnitude of the aforementioned complex.

If this is so, why is hypocritical Air Force trying to get rid of the A-10 Warthog? Why, because of the retired generals and the military industrial complex that continues to put out junk. That's why!
