Russia is main suspect in mystery attacks on U.S. diplomats in Cuba

The suspicion that Russia is likely behind the alleged attacks is backed up by evidence from communications intercepts, known in the spy world as signals intelligence, amassed during a lengthy and ongoing investigation involving the FBI, the CIA and other U.S. agencies. The officials declined to elaborate on the nature of the intelligence.

I'm sure Putin will deny it and our president will believe him, because Putin will deny it very strongly. We can add it to the list of things that Putin has denied, including Russian special forces involvement in seizing military bases in Crimea, Russian missiles shooting down a civilian airliner over Ukraine, Russian agents killing people with nerve agent in the UK, and Russian hacking and meddling in our elections. And since he denied all of those things very strongly, he must be telling the truth there as well.
