I tend to agree with you, SN (Join to see). But from a social justice campaign perspective, IMHO, Emmy-award winning nominee and producer Antonio Moore makes the best OPFOR (opposition force)-argument to resonate with his social justice fans. However, he fails to highlight the competitive intelligence (CI) advantage in the Osaka camp.
According to the military strategist Sun Szu, “Know the enemy and know yourself; in a hundred battles you will never be in peril.” Aleksandar Bajin (aka Big Sascha) was Serena's hitting partner, coach and opponent scout (spy) for eight years before coaching Naomi Osaka. Assuming that most strategists would agree that eight years was adequate for Big Sascha to spy Serena's game, his competitive intelligence and coaching skills culminated in a winning tennis strategy for Osaka. That said, it's highly probable that Serena simply loss fair and square to a younger and better-informed player who was laser-focused on winning the 2018 US Open.
