From Google: Chief executives who served as officers constitute over 8 percent of all CEOs in the S&P 500, which is far above the average percentage of the entire U.S. male population who served in the military (3 percent). 2. CEOs with military experience have longer tenures as CEO than those without.

While studying about logistics and procurement in 2015 during phase 2 of CGS OC, I realized president W bush approved the Prototype of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and rushed into production after 9/11. 17 years later, we're still living with the legacy of that piece of junk. It's now being fielded without full software bugs worked out and the plane is 9 years and at least a hundred sixty five billion dollars behind and over budget. Australia and Canada have decided to use other planes instead such as the F-18 Super Hornet.

The Air Force did not learn his lesson in history. It tried to use the F-111 Aardvark as a multi-role fighter bomber and now the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and that is failing miserably as well. They want to use one standard platform to replace two or three or more planes. Their target is the A-10 Warthog which I think is really stupid and the Science of Stupid is now spreading to the other services such as the Marine Corps. Can you imagine an F-35 Joint Strike Fighter replacing the A-10 Warthog? A 22 caliber bullet can damaged or possibly shut down the F-35. 5.56 mm, 12.7 mm, 23 millimeter ordinance Just Bounce Off the titanium bucket that protects the pilot. The Joint Strike Fighter is fly-by-wire. The A-10 Warthog has three hydraulic systems and one manual system in case all hydraulic systems fail. The Joint Strike Fighter only has 250 rounds for close air support while the warthog has over 1300 rounds of 30 mm not 25 mm Cannon ammunition. The list goes on and on. The late Senator John McCain try to talk sense into the air force 4-star General. The 4-star General said it was all about money. Congresswoman and former warthog squadron commander Martha McSally Randy fence as well because you can't lie to a congresswoman who has over 400 hours of combat experience in the A-10 Warthog.
