I think there's a kid in Iowa who hacked Hillary's server. Another in Peoria. Alberta. And more. Many more. The "security" on her server was as porous as cheesecloth. Then there are the foreign intelligence services. I suspect it would be simpler to name those that didn't hack Hillary's server. Vulnerable servers stand out like flares on the highways of the Internet. And when they have something interesting, the hackers swarm like flies to a corpse. And, according to Hillary's testimony, she may be one of the few people who didn't know there was anything secret on it.

Sad to say but I believe you are correct. I have read a little posted by one non-state actor who claimed to have hacked the Secretary's email server.

Thank you my friend LTC (Join to see) for sharing the researched perspective of Jack Hellner. I think his bottom line is spot on:

"I find this very interesting, but journalists and other Democrats didn't care. Why would Obama have stopped the investigation of Russian hacking before the election if it was so serious and if Clapper, Brennan, and others believed it to be true? Was he scared of what they would find?
The Obama White House's chief cyber official testified Wednesday that proposals he was developing to counter Russia's attack on the U.S. presidential election were put on a "back burner" after he was ordered to "stand down" his efforts in the summer of 2016.
In summary: Hillary had an unprotected computer that was vulnerable to be hacked, and the media aren't interested at all. The DNC would not allow the government to see their computers, and the media didn't care but have been willing to repeat the story that Russians hacked it without any curiosity."

We may know the truth or our grandchildren after HRC, Barrack Obama, etc. are dead. :-)
1. The fact that the Secretary of State who is a former Senator and first-lady was allowed to have a server that handled classified information at home which was not protected inside a SKIF is amazing IMHO.
2. The Obama administration's threat assessment that hacking by Russian and other intelligence agencies, etc. [potentially] was not a serious threat is not surprising;
a. Due to the decentralized nature of our elections which are attacked by homegrown hackers and corrupt folks at the local levels.
b. The DNC under Obama since he first ran reinvented get out the vote and either inspired people to commit fraud in their zeal or coopted that tactic of individuals registering and voting any times, where they could.

3. I am glad that incrementally the various states have bene taking steps to secure elections including verification of voter via picture ID and interstate sharing of voter dat and status to minimize people voting in the neighboring states.

I don't particularly care who hacked whose computer in the past. I do care that someone is working to ensure such hacks don't happen again!

1SG Carl McAndrews Well all the recent reports of confirmed hacking have come from Microsoft, not the government, so odds are they will.
