Yeah, but what they are not saying is I would bet a good number are retires and are getting both their GS paycheck and their retirement check and some are probably getting disability also. So you could have GS10's that are retired E-8 or E9 and 100%. I don't think they are going to go hungry or in the poor house for a year or more.

Perhaps, but they make up a small percentage of the federal workforce.
